"During the months of the past year when physical escape from the house wasn't possible, I worked in my backyard to find a creative escape, arranging objects from the garden and from piles of yard debri into temporary sculptures. I kept stepping on the poop from our foster dog as I worked, so eventually I decided I should just add some to a picture, candy-coating it with a bit of spray paint and garnishing with some flowers"
