Originally published in 1926, this classic childrens book follows the adventures of a stuffed bear named Winnie the Pooh and his friends, Piglet, Eeyore, Owl, Rabbit, Kanga and Baby Roo.

Artist Bio

Alan Alexander Milne (January 1882 – January 1956) was an English author. He was best known for his books about the teddy bear Winnie the Pooh and for various poems. Milne was a noted writer, primarily as a playwright. Although this was before the huge success of Pooh overshadowed all his previous work. Milne served in both World Wars, joining the British Army in World War I, and as a captain of the British Home Guard in World War II. He is the father of bookseller Christopher Robin Milne. Upon whom the character Christopher Robin is based. The characters of this book were inspired by his sons stuffed animals. Christopher Robin Milne's own toys are now on display in New York where 750,000 people visit them every year.
