Lean Lui, a fine art and fashion photographer hailing from Hong Kong, is a graduate of Central Saint Martins with an MA in Contemporary Photography: Practices and Philosophies. She also serves as a guest lecturer in the Contemporary Photography Course at Hong Kong University Space.Her photos exude a natural academic vibe as a result of her long-term exposure to an academic environment.
She views photography as a medium through which she constructs her own Utopia, poetic, philosophical and ambiguously seductive. Her works delve deep into the intricate and multilayered concept of "Pureness," constantly exploring its complexities and expanding its horizons.
Lean's work has been part of prestigious exhibitions such as the 2018 Beijing Three-shadow Photography Award Exhibition and the Hong Kong International Photo Festival, as well as numerous galleries across the globe.
