Stéphane Arnaud is a journalist and photographer based in Paris who has spent many years in photojournalism, working for various newspapers and press agencies as an editor.
This constant immersion in the news, with its demands and its rules, fed a parallel practice that is freer and more personal, one in which he seeks to move beyond any constraint. His work moves between colour and black and white, without hierarchy or dogma, mixing approaches and genres. He favours a subjective photography, where the eye precedes the intention.
