About
Hysteric Twelve is a photo collection by Japanese photographer Masahisa Fukase. Throughout his life, Masahisa Fukase has continued to look at himself as a human being and a photographer through familiar subjects such as his wife, father, family, cats, and crows. After graduating from Nihon University College of Art, he started out in commercial work, worked for Daiichi Advertising and Kawade Shobo, and then went freelance. After that, as if to confirm the meaning of "I" and "taking photographs," he began to point his lens at himself, his family, and his surroundings, and went on to publish his representative works, "Yoko (wife at the time)," "Sasuke (cat)," "Crow (crow)," and "Memories of my father (father)."
