First impression

Medium format paperback in near fine condition. Some markings to the dust jacket and shelf wear, including tears, around the edges of the dust jacket. Belly band has sustained some markings and closed tears repaired with archival tape on the inside. Slight age toning to the page block and extremities of the pages. Otherwise, pages clean and binding firm.

With it's unique format of narrow pages, this book is a collection of works that Sanai took on Polaroid film while driving around various places in his car over a period of about three months in the 1990s, before his debut publication of "Ikiru" in 1997. The dreamy images, created by being out of focus or underexposed before sunset, seem to revive the viewer's relegated memories.
