About
Daido Moriyama’s Kagero is an extremely rare photo-book, published by Haga Shoten, in 1972. Having taken its title from the Japanese word for Mayfly, the series captures fleeting and momentary scenes of females bound in Kinbaku. It remains Moriyama’s sole commissioned work dedicated exclusively to erotic, and was produced in collaboration with S/M fiction author Oniroku Dan, partially to help fund Moriyama's travels to Europe.
