About The Absolute Truth
Every photograph is in truth a distinct unit. To connect photographs as some sort of narrative is simply a conceit of both the photographer and the viewer. All I can say about these particular photographs, is that they are certainly previous and elsewhere. A group of color photographs from California for my closest friend in photography, Lewis Baltz, whose demands and rigor with the medium have always kept my worst instincts in check.
