Twiggy was the world's first supermodel. As 'The Face of 1966', Twiggy (born Lesley Hornby) was the embodiment of the 60s look and was photographed by leading figures Richard Avedon, Cecil Beaton, Melvin Sokolsky, Helmut Newton, Bert Stern, Klaus Voorman, Douglas Kirkland and Norman Parkinson. Combining these iconic images with more recent portraits by Steven Meisel, Bryan Adams, Mary McCartney and Solve Sundsbo, this book explores and celebrates Twiggy's life in front of the camera. In her own words, Twiggy describes the distinguished photographers she has collaborated with and gives rare insights into the creative process.
