Welcome to Setanta Books. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website www.setantabooks.com (“Site”), the purchase of any products from us, and your interaction with our services. By browsing, ordering, or otherwise using this Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.

1. Definitions

“We", “us”, “our” means Setanta Books Ltd, a company registered in the UK (Company Number: 10683425), whose registered office is at 15 Clydesdale Gardens, Richmond, Surrey, TW10 5EG, UK.
“You”, “your”, “customer” means the person viewing, ordering or purchasing goods from our Site.
“Products” means any books, photobooks, art books or other items offered for sale via the Site.
“Contract” means the contract between us and you for the sale of Products, which comes into force when we dispatch the Products.

2. Use of the Site

You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian to purchase through this Site.
You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful or prohibited purpose. You also agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when placing orders or registering.

3. Ordering & Contract

All orders placed through the Site are subject to acceptance by us. We may refuse or cancel an order at our sole discretion (for example, if a product is out of stock, incorrectly priced, or unavailable).
When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your order. This is not acceptance. Acceptance (and the formation of the Contract) occurs when we send you a dispatch/fulfilment confirmation.
We reserve the right to adjust prices or correct errors (typographical, pricing, product description) at any time before acceptance.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are shown in your local currency, and include VAT where applicable. Shipping and handling costs are additional and will be calculated at checkout.
Payment must be made at the time of order, via the payment methods we accept (credit card, debit card, PayPal, etc.).
We do not store your full credit card data; we use secure payment gateways.

5. Delivery & Shipping

We deliver worldwide. Estimated delivery times depend on destination and shipping method.
We aim to dispatch most orders within 1–2 business days of receiving payment.
Risk of loss and damage to Products passes to you upon delivery to the carrier or service used for shipment.

6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

If the Product you receive is faulty, incorrect, or does not match the description, please contact us as soon as possible at orders@setantabooks.com to arrange a return or replacement.
If the item is as described but you simply change your mind, you may return it within 14 days of receipt, provided it is in original, resalable condition and packaging. Return shipping may be at your expense.
Refunds will be made using the original payment method once the returned Product is received and inspected.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site (images, text, layout, design etc.) is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view, download, or print extracts for your personal, non-commercial use only.
You must not reproduce, modify, distribute or exploit any of the Site content without our express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information on the Site is accurate, but we do not guarantee that descriptions, images, or other content are completely error-free.

Except where prohibited by law, Setanta Books shall not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss arising from use of the Site or purchase of Products.
Our total liability to you under or in connection with any Contract shall not exceed the purchase price of the Product(s) you have ordered.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

We collect, use and store your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using our Site or placing an order, you consent to the collection and use of your information in line with that policy.

10. Cancellation by Us

Occasionally, we may need to cancel or suspend orders due to stock issues, mistakes in pricing, or other unforeseen problems. In such cases, we will inform you as soon as possible and refund any amount you have paid.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the Site will always be the current version.
Continued use of the Site after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the amended Terms.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms, and any Contract between us, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms or any Contract shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remainder of the Terms will continue in full force.
We may transfer or assign our rights under any Contract without your consent. You may not transfer your rights or obligations without our prior written consent.
