This Dover edition, first published in 1979, is an unabridged republication of the eleven-volume work Animal Locomotion; an electro-photographic investigation of consecutive phases of animal movements, originally published under the auspices of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, in 1887; together with the Prospectus and Catalogue of Plates, published separately by the University earlier in the same year. 

Each of the 3 volumes is in near fine condition 

Some very minor reading wear

Some very slight toning to extremities of pages

Otherwise, all 3 volumes have clean pages and firm binding
