Alice's Adventures in Wonderland follows Alice falling down a rabbit hole into a nonsensical world of talking animals, mad tea parties, and the tyrannical Queen of Hearts, focusing on illogical adventures and physical transformations. Its sequel, Through the Looking-Glass, sees Alice enter a backward world via a mirror, experiencing a giant game  of chess where she progresses from a pawn to a queen, encountering characters like Humpty Dumpty and the White Knight, and exploring themes of Logic, language and growing up as things are reversed and reality bends.
