Hull-born historian and psychologist Alec Gill opened up his archive of almost 7,000 black-and-white photographs taken on his Rolleicord twin-lens reflex camera during the 1970s and 80s. Over 240 images of Hull's Hessle Road community are presented alongside archival material such as Alec's camera and notebooks, setting the work in its historical context.
