Born in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture. After graduating from Seisen Jogakuin College, she studied photography at Joshibi University of Art and Design. In 1970, she started shooting “TRANSGENDER” and “LONG HAIR” works, which were serialised in magazines such as “Talking Features” and “Kuro no Techo”. She participated as a guest in the “Geribara Five,” a group formed by Nobuyoshi Araki in the early stages of his career, and published her “TRANSGENDER” works. After returning to Japan, she published “PUNK ROCK IN LONDON” (Bronze Publishing) in 1979, and “TRANSGENDER” and “LONG HAIR INVERTED” from KOMIYAMA TOKYO in 2021. In 2021, “TRANSGENDER” and “LONG HAIR INVERTED” were published by KOMIYAMA TOKYO.
