Tokyo Modern Pictorial presents a series of images taken in the early 1980's, which is a clear contrast with the title of the project. Suda's intention was to show what has changed and what hasn't. This way, he decided to focus both on the present and what lied in front of his camera whilst paying the same attention to what was modern 30 years ago. In his classic style, Suda captures his surroundings emphasising what would be too subtle to all of us.
