WM: What do you feel makes a successful portrait? NM: A connection between the viewer and the people in the photograph. NM: I think it’s a basic human trait, most people are interested in other people and a portrait is a way to explore that curiosity — the places we live, our cultural backgrounds, the clothes we wear, our family ties.Related Links
