About Grona Lund
Gröna Lund is a new edition of Anders Petersen's first book Gröna Lund : om människor p ett nöjesfält published by Fyra Förläggare in Stockholm in 1973, with a text by Jan Stolpe. Following Café Lehmitz, this series is also produced in an enclosed space, one of the oldest Swedish amusement parks founded in 1983, located on Djurgården Island in Stockholm. In this reinterpretation of the 1973 edition, Anders Petersen expresses the evolution of his photographic expression. A more intense selection, a more organic energy lead Gröna Lund to this almost animal sensitivity which is reflected in his most recent books. A rugged and nervous style, a selection of the more silent and melancholy pictures, which abandon the euphoria of the fair.
