About

Jason Hendardy, born in the San Francisco Bay Area and currently based in Seattle, is interested in how people use images, objects, and systems of display to make sense of a world that does not come already explained, and to resist the idea that the present is all there is. His multidisciplinary practice is anchored in photography and extends into video, sound, and sculpture, treating images, objects, and systems of display as ways people orient themselves in the world.

His work has been recognized by publications including Fisheye Magazine and Yogurt Magazine, and is held in library collections at the Museum of Modern Art, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Harvard University, and others.
