About Reconnect
Reconnect is a project about getting back in touch with the past. It started when Martin Rosengren went back to Stockholm after six years of being abroad. There he decided he wanted to capture the photos he wished he would have captured back when he was twenty. Soon the project evolved into an exploration of the roles we all play when meeting each other in bars or the streets. Through a series of striking, vibrant portraits, the photographer studies not only the environments and dynamics of young people but also his own relationship with those subjects, as he becomes more of a stranger compared to the world he's capturing. One he is slowly abandoning.About Martin Rosengren
Martin Rosengren is a photographer from Stockholm. He has worked in film and television since 1983 and over the years has done documentary and fiction films as well as commercials. Nowadays, his career is focused in non-commercial documentaries on a diverse range of topics, usually of a social nature.Related links
