The Streets of the Past (Xiàoshì de lǎojiē) by Japanese photographer Shuhei Kaihara, published in 2007. It captures the rapidly disappearing traditional lane neighborhoods and transforming urban fabric of Shanghai shot between 1996 and 2000 using a wide-angle lens.
