About Wonderland

Wonderland is a series of photographs taken from a variety of popular global destinations. David Robinson attempts through his photography to document a shrinking planet and global culture like trophies as proof of their existence. Robinson's landscapes are pleasure-provoking vistas in an era of mind-numbing labour, our worldview pressed through a sieve of tourism, where leisure has squeezed out all the space in the imagination that nature once held.

About David Robinson

So, David Robinson is an Irish artist based in London. For the past 15 years, his artwork has combined his passion for photography and food. Moreover, Robinson has produced highly original Fungi Luminograms and idiosyncratic films in his East-London studio. He is also co-founder of Sporeboys. This is a mushroom street-food kitchen. It tours food markets in London and events across the UK. Sporeboys food has been celebrated in The New York Times and The Independent.
