About Today is the First Day
Today is the First Day is a multi-perspective exploration of Tillman's work over the years. In fact, it documents his first major solo exhibition in Belgium. Across 30 pages, we delve into the artist's several approaches to his work. Accordingly, the mediums are varied: photography, video, music, video, activism, etc. As well as Tillman's work, this book was made with the collaboration of contributors such as Olivia Lain, Catherine Wood or Brian Dillon. Furthermore, every contributor has their own different approach, skill or profession, which creates a very rich study of the artist. As a result, we get to appreciate different sides of Tillman's process and interests.
